Over the hills and far away*
| Well, kids. We're off for a weekend filled with the eating of s'mores (mmmm, graham-cracker-chocolatey-marshmallowy goodness, where have you been all of my life?), the fishing of rivers and the hiking of trails. Likely, there will also be the sunburning and mosquito-biting of skin, the dirtying of the hair (I'm told there will be a "solar shower" ... help me now) and the incessant barking and freaking out of the dog who is irrationally afraid of fireworks, so much so she becomes paralyzed with fear and then proceeds to shiver for an hour after hearing one dinky *pop* and subsequent crackle. It's going to be a long weekend, my friends. But I'm really trying to focus on The Positives, the main one being - I have five days off from work! Roth has 10 days off, the little brat. He'll be entertaining his parents for a few days when we get back from camping. Most likely they'll go up to Canada, while I will go back to work. (Think of the positives, think of the positives). While I'm away should you find yourself bored because you are not eating s'mores, why not answer a couple questions for me. It's an informal survey, if you will, lovingly borrowed from Nanners. 1. Where are you from? Married? Kids? 2. What do you do (for work, play)? 3. How did you discover me? 4. What's your absolute favorite Led Zeppelin song and why? Should you not have a favorite Led Zeppelin song (or, gasp, not know who Led Zeppelin is - is that even possible?), we may need to reevauluate our little relationship here. Until next time. (I want answers, people.) *Not my favorite |
